Si Mobile Central Settles Quickly, Automatically and Accurately

Si Mobile Central provides the link between the office computer and your mobile sales systems. Essentially it supplies information to mobile sales computers while also supplying several important features that are missing in 'non-mobilized' office systems. It is included with every Si Mobile Sales system.

• It functions automatically so you do not have to supervise it.
• It provides bi-directional settlement so mobile sales staff need only conduct a single settlement.
• In most systems, key information is updated automatically so mobile sales staff receive the latest information from the office system.

Si Mobile Central performs these key functions:

• Settlement - Si Mobile Central, through its assistant, Si MultiConnect, listens for a preauthorized mobile computer to request settlement. If approved, it then conducts the settlement automatically. During the settlement process, new transactions are obtained, checked, and submitted to your accounting system, while new customer and price list information is obtained from the accounting system and sent to the mobile computer. Finally, new configuration information and even new programs are sent back to the mobile computer when needed. A detailed log of each settlement session, including the action taken on each transaction, is recorded in case detailed analysis is required.
• Configuration - New mobile computers can be authorized into the system, while key management control functions are configured here. Configurable features include (some features are also options): Transaction types (Pre-Sell, Sales, Delivery Confirmation, Back Ordering and combinations), Credit Limit handling, Passwords, Initialize, and others.

Si Mobile Central also provides these features:

• Connection Methods - All settlement methods are supported, depending upon the mobile equipment you select, including direct connect, network, Internet, and cellular.
• Settlement Sessions - Multiple sessions can be enabled to handle modem banks and/or high speed network or Internet connections.
• Palm Desktop (optional) - Settlement can be conducted through the Palm Desktop for complete compatibility with other Palm programs.
